PRE17- The GOATs of Funk Keyboards

I’m officially declaring April as Keyboard Month, in honor of two of my favorite keyboardists/synthesists, jazz great Herbie Hancock, born April 12th,  and Parliament-Funkadelic icon Bernie Worrell, born April 19th. As you will hear, both of these great musicians have contributed important innovations that influenced the techniques, sounds, and chord structures used, not just in Funk, but in contemporary music as a whole.
