Badd Kitti Debuts Solo EDM Set

Badd Kitti gave a solo performance at Girls Rock Philly summer camp, helping to kick-off the first in-person camp since shutting down due to the pandemic in 2020. For the concert, Badd Kitti debuted her new EDM set up, including the Arturia Keystep Pro, Roland TR-6s, and iPad using soft synths. As hoped, the girls really enjoyed the performance, and had lots of questions about the technology, and about what it’s like to be a musician in general.

Girls Rock Philly uses musical expression, experimentation and collaboration to foster self esteem, confidence and leadership in girls, grades 5 through 12. Badd Kitti started volunteering for GRC Summer Camp about ten years ago, and has stayed connected with the organization since that time. Badd Kitti:”The pandemic nearly stopped camp altogether, but fortunately 2022 saw GRC return to full operation. It was truly an honor to be among those artists called upon to reopen GRC!”
